Re-purposing

Repurposing is the process by which an object with one use value is transformed or redeployed as an object with an alternative use value. Different from recycling where the object is usually broken down and then re-shaped or re-created into another item, re-purposing often takes some creativity and ingenuity.

There are plenty of groups mending and making all over the city. Here are just a few.
